A japanese shoot'em up/bullet hell with very good graphics,top tier scoring and immaculate gameplay.. Not very fun, enemies feel the same thru the time i played the game.. Poor bullet patters and too easy. With homing lasers the game basically plays by itself. I one credit cleared it on the first run. Refunded.. This game is mediocre at best. For a 10.99 price tag there are a lot of better games in this category. Pros:+ Some of the music is pretty good+ There's an actual story to the game (even if they do reuse the same jokes)+ Trophies are all easily attainable by playing+ The implementation of a "shield" is a very interesting idea and adds another element to the genre.Cons:- Some of the art looks very strange. For example, when you move your ship sometimes the enemy sprites will lurch like they are static images being dragged across the screen. Other times this happens to the background. - So generic that I couldn't really tell you any major differences from one level to another. Just felt like I was in the same level the entire game. Even the bosses are the same (aside from the fact that they have minor visual differences). - Poor english translation so some things are a little confusing. For example when you play arcade a menu pops up at around level 8 or so that gives you a 'yes' 'no' but I still have no idea what the 'yes' or 'no' really does.- A lot of free achievements (If you're into that though I'm sure this would be a positive).- Even the controls feels janky and lack a sense of transition from one frame to another making it hard to calculate movement strategies.All in all, it's definitely not the WORST but its a far cry from games already on steam like Mushihimesama. I wish I could give it a middle rating because I'm sure people would think this game was GOOD but for me it was more disappointing than anything else.. Caravan BullethellEnemies come in big waves and with many different bullet hell patterns. Shooting them down increases a bar that gives you two features: 1)Triggers a short bullet clearing wave when hit if you have enough bar 2) When full gives you access to some screen clearing/filling burst lazers (by pressing a button0 that turns enemies, and their bullets if they die, into medals. Based on how many of them you collect a secondary bar fills that activates at the end of the lazer clearing burst that allows you to get melee with opponents/stage structures for more medals and score for up to 4 seconds.You also have a secondary weapon that gets replaced with completly different ones by pickups in stages (found 3 different ones).ProsNice visualsNice adrenaline burst with the continuous waves of enemies and the ship's superweaponNice sound effectsConsAlways starts windowed. Have to alt+enter each time.Sometimes crackling audio sound artifact.Doesn't launch with steam in offline mode.Maybe the visuals are 720p. Love the translations!. This is a great bullet heaven, and a good choice for first-time shmup players.Tons of weak enemies to absolutely decimated and plenty of rather satisfying weapons to do it with.. - Terrible translation with grammatical mistakes everywhere. There's a story and even voice acting, but I didn't care enough to read what was going on.- Non-stop chaotic, intense bullet patterns, not fun to play. The only saving grace is that you have a shield, so you don't die in one hit.- Bland uninspired levels. Actually, I think it even reused the same level template multiple times.- Bland uninspired bosses + enemies. Same enemies, same boss (but slightly different looking) every single time.+ There seems to be a lot to unlock, at least.I got this for 50 cents and I still feel cheated. Get something else instead unless you're starved for a SHMUP.. A very colorful and flashy bullet hell shooter with a decently long story mode. Also has arcade and challenge modes. The bosses are too easy and the default movement speed of the ship is a bit too fast, plus there's a lot of screen clutter. Also, I don't know what the game is about because I couldn't be bothered watching the cutscenes (english text, japanese dialogue), but it's a game about anime girls blowing up things in space so I'm going to assume I didn't miss anything important. Overall it's a pretty fun bullet hell with a good amount of content and some pretty crazy bullet patterns. I'd recommend it to fans of the genre.
